    Microsoft accoint compliance locked


    Hi, my Microsoft account was hacked a while back but the hacker gave me the updated information as he said hes only doing it to inform users about how unsafe their accounts are.

    After he gave me the information I changed the security email which locked the account for 30 days, after the 30 day wait period I saw the account was still locked so I reached out to the Microsoft support team to see if I did something wrong or if its going to be a few more days.

    The agent told me that its not what he typically works on and forwarded me to a higher level of support I guess? Then I recieved a email the following day that the account has been permanently locked for my safetly or something similar in that line.

    I have done the account unblock appeal but it feels like the support team is just running me around in a circle with filling out the same forms and answering the same questions.

    Any help is appreciated

    Hello Vv, if you have already filled out the form to unlock your account, you will have to wait for a response from Microsoft, unfortunately it is not defined how long it may take for them to unlock it.
