I own forza 4 in disc... its a play anywhere title... will it work in the Rog Xbox Ally X ?

so this is probably a feature request... if I have a play anywhere game in disc format... will the Rog Xbox Ally X play it ?

If not ... can you design a way for us to play it ?

I don't know perhaps a disc to digital license eliminating the disc license?

it's not going to be changed, more importantly there's no ability to change it, and since Xbox discs are no longer being manufactured for new titles, not something that's gonna happen

The movie industry tried to disc to digital program and it was rife with fraud. people with large libraries were charging people to scan

Play Anywhere only works with digital purchases.

That would depend on the game. If the games are part of the Xbox Play anywhere Program, then yes, you can play them on an Asus Rog Ally. But if they are not part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, then you would have to purchase the games again on the relevant store they are available on. for this specific game you can do that, you can know if you can play with the same progress if the game is a xbox play anywhere title, not all are play anywhere, titles like this one, forza horizon 4 and halo MMC are play anywhere,, but for example final
fantasy XV is in the xbox store for pc and xbox, but it is not an xbox play anywhere title
