Wordament map progress lost, stuck at map 1.

I totally understand how frustrating it is to lose your Wordament map progress, especially if you’ve reached advanced levels. If you're stuck on Map 1 and the rest aren't unlocking, it's likely due to a sync issue between your device and Xbox Live services.

Here’s what you can try:

First, double-check that you’re signed in to the correct Microsoft account. Progress is tied to your Xbox profile, so if you’re on a different one, your maps may appear reset.

Next, open Wordament, go to Settings, sign out of your account, and then sign back in. This can trigger a fresh sync with the cloud and might restore your progress.

If that doesn’t help, you can reset the Microsoft Store cache, which sometimes interferes with Xbox services. Close the game, press Win + R, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter. The store will reopen after a few seconds.

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Wordament. Once reinstalled, launch it and sign back into your account. Your save might sync automatically if it’s still stored in the cloud.

Just a heads-up, Wordament doesn’t have a manual save or cloud backup tool, so if the sync was interrupted or data was overwritten, recovery may not be possible.

Two days ago everything on my PC was fine. Yesterday, all of my 2018 Wordament maps disappeared (April was in progress). But my level is still showing correctly.

Are there more maps for wordament? Can a player download more maps?

Microsoft has recently updated the wordament game with a new 1000g version of the game, however, this may only be supported on mobile devices. this has a whole load of new maps currently there are 14 maps with another 10 in extra maps as well as monthly
challenges. This game is updated regularly adding more than enough new content for you to experience.

Are there more maps for wordament? Can a player download more maps?

I don't think any additional maps have been released for a while now.
