Xbox keeps kicking me out of games after parent changed privacy settings

2. Power cycle your console (clears deeper cache):

usually the privacy and online safety settings can be set up via console or via
http://account.xbox.com/settings keep in mind that if it's in regarding to a child account that the parental account is in control of these settings and needs to adjust the settings
for the child account. Be sure to sign out and sign in again after changing settings.

http://account.xbox.com/settings and see if you can change the settings from there.

in case you are using a child account then privacy and online safety settings can only be changed by a parental account.

Keep in mind that after changing the settings you will have to sign out and sign back in again on the console.
