You will need to provide sufficient information in order to be able to recover your account, as the team in charge should be 100% you are the actual owner of that account!

The account recovery system is not broken. It is up to the account holder to remember their information and also keep it up to date because at any time, any service can require you to enter said information.

You havent mentioned that you've contact the Microsoft Account Team on the forums that Hassassinade posted a link for. Have you contacted them yet?

Hi Toss, We don't handle account recovery information. You will need to contact Xbox Support for assistance. You can also go to the email provider of the account you associated your Gamertag with and try to recover/reset your password.
