Need help removing address from account

You will need to remove the email address from one account and add it to the other. However, an account must have a primary alias before an email address can be removed from it. This means you need to first add any email address you want to the account,
set it as the new primary alias, remove the old primary alias and add it to the other account. We hope this information helps

You will need to change the email address on the old account to your new email address and to do that you will have to remove it from the new account.

You can only remove accounts from the family, if you are wanting to change the gamer tag associated with an email address you will need to get another email address to associate it with.

There is no way to swap to email around as these are bound to the account (depending if they are outlook emails).

If you are wanting to remove a gamertag from an account you would need to pay for it to be changed.

change the primary alias on the Gmail account, you will still see your old email address on the list. If the old email address is a Microsoft email address like @outlook or @live and it's removed, the email address will be deleted permanently and cannot
be reclaimed after it is removed. You can assign a third-party email address to another Microsoft account.

In order for you to use your Gmail account as the primary alias of another Microsoft account, you need to remove it from the account when it is a secondary alias. This means removing it as the primary alias from the Microsoft account that has it. The

changing the primary alias. If you are interested in switching email addresses between two accounts, you must first remove the primary alias from one account and add it to the other account. However, there are certain email addresses that are not able to
be recovered once they have been removed from a Microsoft account. These type of email addresses are from other Microsoft domains (like @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com), cannot be added again as an alias to any Microsoft account once they're removed.
If you remove an email address from @outlook.com, it can be re-created as a new account or alias after 30 days. We hope this helps!
