    Hello! This is my second ever question in this forum. This time with a more general problem.

    As per the title, my Microsoft account that I use right now got hit with the Too Many Requests error. Here's the chronology.

    I was about to play Minecraft that I bought a year back with my friend on mobile. Before this, logging in has no trouble at all. But then one day, I don't remember when, I couldn't login after I press the login button. I pressed that button multiple times that I can't count how many. And then I tried different method. I used the enter key and voila, it works! But, that's the moment I got hit with the Too Many Requests.

    I'm assuming, the cause is I tapped the login button way too many times that it triggers the TMR error. But here's the thing. It has been a year and my account still got hit with the TMR error. Not just for Minecraft. But other services that has Microsoft account as log in method. OpenAI ChatGPT is one of them.

    Is there a way to solve this issue?

    Hi, my name is , I'm a member of the Xbox community like you. I understand your problem, don't worry I'm here to help you.

    Since you have attempted to log in several times in a short period of time, try waiting a few hours and see if the problem persists.

    If it persists, try logging in using a different sign-in method. After entering your email address, click on "Use your face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key".

    If you don't have any of these options, click Cancel and select "Other ways to sign in".

    I appreciate your patience, if you have more questions feel free to ask.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues logging in to your Microsoft account. This may be due to a network issue at the time the login request is sent.

    Please try to "Sign out everywhere" your Microsoft account. Try to use a different device such as your smartphone and disconnect from your current Wi-Fi and use your mobile data during this process:

    Sign in to your Advanced security options on your Microsoft account security dashboard.

    Scroll down to Sign out everywhere and select Sign out.

    Once done, give it few minutes to update across all Microsoft servers before trying again.

    Note: Sign out may take up to 24 hours.

    Hi Lauren,

    Some questions:

    1. Where exactly are you trying to sign in - an Xbox console, or the Xbox website or app on another device (smartphone, tablet, PC)? Do you have 2FA/2SV enabled on your account?
    2. Are there any specific error codes with the error message?
    3. Are you able to successfully sign in to another Xbox account/profile on the same device?
    4. Have you tried a different network? If you're connected to a WiFi network, try 4G/5G mobile data (as a hotspot if you're not signing in on a smartphone).

    Yes, you should be able to access and use your account still.

    In regards to your error, you may just need to wait within 24 hours.
