I have this problem with my (1G) Minecraft world, a couple months back I had this problem where every time I left the world my data wouldn’t save to the cloud. Eventually I resolved this issue by deleting a couple of worlds and other resources packs. But recently the issue has popped up again. This time I tried doing the same thing I did previously, delete some worlds to reserve space for my main world. It did not work, I tried numerous other methods like deleting all of my reserve data, which was approximately 5G worth, and this still did not help. I went to lengths of deleting Minecraft itself and reinstalling it, it still didn’t help. I know it’s not a space issue because I have 500G free. I’ve tried every possible way to resolve this issue but nothing has helped. I did some research and apparently one of the many reasons this could be happening is because my world is corrupted, I hope this is not the case.

Any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated.

    :)

How to get my Minecraft 1.20 worlds to save to the cloud

    Hello Arthur Dahm,

We appreciate you for bringing this up to Xbox Forum.

It seems like you’re having trouble syncing your Minecraft worlds to the cloud.

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

    1. Was this working before?
    2. When did the issue start?
    3. Recent activity or changes made before the issue appeared?
    4. Do you mind sending a screenshot of the exact error message, minimizing your personal information?

These above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we have gathered all the information, we will formulate the viable solution to help you with your case.

Based on this article, Syncing Xbox game saves to the cloud error messages | Xbox Support, this error message “local save successful but cloud sync failed due to quota.

You can free cloud space by deleting words from the settings menu” occurs when your console runs out of space for saved games while synchronizing with the cloud. You should free up space by deleting saves you no longer need. Or you can ignore the error and continue to play without the option to save.

If you’ve already tried deleting multiple large worlds and still get the error, you may want to try deleting the old save on your Xbox console and sign out. Then on the Xbox with the new save, open the game and then exit and save. Wait a couple of minutes as your file is being updated to the cloud. Then sign in on the Xbox where you deleted the file and open Minecraft.

Let us know the result and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We may recommend further troubleshooting steps once we have received your answers to the above questions.

We will be glad to follow up and help you.

    Sincerely,

Help needed to restore deleted charachter from Diablo 3 EC on my Xbox One X.

    Hello GW,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, there is no way for a support agent to see the contents of your cloud save. If you cleared the local save data, when you launch the game it automatically syncs with the cloud save. You would see syncing data.
If it synced and the character is not there, your cloud save was overwritten due to may of been corrupt or deleted. You can reach out to Blizzard see if they can restore it also.

However, if you been playing offline, and you deleted your local saves, then it is gone as it hasn't been uploaded to cloud.

    Hope this helps.

Problem with saved games, pls help

    Hi there!

Xbox Cloud is free. You don’t need a subscription to save or sync your game’s progress to the cloud.

If you’re playing your games online all the time, your progressions are synchronized automatically to the cloud. It’s okay to delete your local saves because it will be synchronized from the cloud again.

    Clearing local saved games

Clearing local saves may not free up that much space, you're probably better off deleting an unused game.

Note Delete saved games won't remove saved games in the cloud, and they will be synced the next time you play the game. So you won't actually lose any in-game progress that has already been saved.

Can someone at Microsoft Access specific saves on the cloud?

Unfortunately, no one can bring back a specific save, as they don't keep a history of your previous save games.

However, if the console hasn't synced this corrupted save, try the following:

Go to the game tile, and press the Menu button.

    Choose to manage the game.

Delete the local savegame from your console, and start the game. The console should try to sync the save from the cloud.

If that was successful, and you have an older savestate that works, congratulations.

If that didn't work, and the cloud save is corrupted as well, you will unfortunately have to start over, by deleting the local save as well as from the cloud, by choosing both buttons in the game management screen.
