How can i retrieve my old xbox account that was stolen in 2018

why would I have bothered going to the police it was an Xbox account with skull trooper and raiders revenge on it, its not like it was a 8 carat diamond, and I did try to contact them but Microsoft in 2018 had little to no account recovery help its only as of recent i have seen videos emerge of accounts being recovered so I'm wondering how i can possibly contact them to try recover the account, if your not gonna offer a possible solution then don't respond.

you sure understand best why game sharing outside the own household is forbidden, right !

Even if you or your Parents had reported the guy to the police 8 years ago this violation of the ToS would have been a problem.

But after all those years there is no more chance to get it back.

First, we would suggest you fill up the ACSR form and make sure you provide an alternate email address when you fill up the ACSR form so that the team can communicate with you. Help with the Microsoft account recovery form

The more information you can include in the form, the better the chance you’ll have of regaining access to your account. Answer as many questions as you can as thoroughly as possible. If you’re not sure, guessing is ok - wrong answers don’t count against you.



When you enter your email address, keep in mind that some domains may be country specific such as @outlook.co.uk. If you’ve had your account for several years, the details on file may not match your current situation, so think about what you may have entered when you first signed up. Is it possible that you moved or changed your name? Think about passwords that you use on other accounts that you may have used here. This is another place where a good guess can pay off. When you get to a question that lets you “add more," fill in as much information as you are able. Email subject lines need to be exact.

Hello RoNinja5, I'm so sorry to say but in order to access your Xbox Live account and other Microsoft services, you need to know the email address and password you used to set up your Microsoft account. Xbox Support can’t provide this information, even if you know your gamertag.

If you've forgotten your account/username/gamertag and if you’ve forgotten which email address see the Lost Account Solution link:

a. Recover using your Alternate phone number or email address:

1. All you need to do is to go to https://account.live.com

2. Click on Sign in

3. Choose sign in options

4. Choose Forgot my username from there you will be ask for alternate email or phone number that you use with that account, if you enter it correctly then you will be able to see the right email for your account.

If none of these methods work you'll have to remember your Microsoft account.
