I changed the email on my gamer tag by signing in to microsoft live account, creating a new alias and assigning it as the primary account, then deleting the old alias.

I am having the exact same issue, but to my knowledge everything on my xbox one is up-to-date. I made my regular email the primary, and also deleted the old one and now my system will not recognize that the email has changed, nor will it allow me access
to any area where I can change the Microsoft account's email to the new one I have chosen.

My understanding is that it is impossible to delete an old outlook/live/hotmail email address without deleting the entire Microsoft Account!

Microsoft have not implemented a system like Google. For example I managed to delete my Google Mail address from my Google Account and attach a non Gmail address.

Microsoft doesn't let you delete a Outlook email individually from your Microsoft Account. Point I want to know is whether changing the primary alias to the Xbox Live gamertag profile and then deleting the MS account will work?

I watched this video last night on youtube this guy says it is not possible. So who is right? :S

When you say you deleted your old email address do you mean you deleted it from Google?

Unfortunately there is not a way to transfer a Xbox profile from one Microsoft account to another.

What you could do if you did not purchase anything with the new Microsoft account.

You can add a dummy email to the Yahoo Microsoft account make that dummy email as the primary email and then remove the Yahoo email from that Microsoft account.

Then add the Yahoo email to the Old Google Microsoft account and make the yahoo email the primary email for that account and then you would be able to remove the Google email from the old Microsoft account.

All this is doing is changing the email address that is associated with signing into your Microsoft account.
