Discus and support I don't know how to keep my gamebar social tab from crashing.? in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; Every single time I go on the social tab on the xbox gamebar, it just crashes.     I don't know how to keep my gamebar social tab from crashing.?


    Every single time I go on the social tab on the xbox gamebar, it just crashes. I have tried almost every single way possible to try and resolve this issues for a couple of years now, and I have had 0% success rate. All other tabs work perfectly normal but as soon as I try going on to my friends list or try making a party its done before it starts. So if ANYONE has dealt with this and knows a real solution PLEASE HELP ME I NEED THIS. Also just incase you're curious, my pc is fully up to date on windows 11 (I think its probably just windows 11 thats making it suck) all my drivers are up to date as well. I've also repaired the app and everything. Thank You!

    Hi, my name is Julian and I'm an Xbox gamer just like you. Let's try to solve your issue together.

    Please try these steps:

    1) Reset Xbox Game Bar (more than just repair):

    Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Xbox Game Bar > Advanced options > Hit Reset (this clears corrupted app data). Learn more here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...

    2) Check Xbox Services:

    Make sure these are running in the background:

    IP Helper

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    Gaming Services

    Use services.msc to check them.

    3) Reinstall Gaming Services (fixes deeper issues):

    Open PowerShell as Admin and run:get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    4) Try a new user profile (Windows):

    Some users report it only crashes on their main profile. Try testing Game Bar under a new local account.

    Performance Tab on gamebar is missing

    Sounds like you are having GameBar issues! Take a look at our Gamebar support articles:

    Troubleshoot Game Bar on Windows 10

    Keep in mind with updates sometimes certain features are made unavailable. This may not be the case in this instance but it is a possibility.

    Hello Rosariaodf,

    To add Friends thru xbox press the xbox button to bring up the guide. Tab over to the Friends tab and at the bottom will be a “Find Someone”. Enter your PC xbox gamertag, must match exactly, select the profile and add friend.

    To add a friend using Gamebar on Pc here is a link that gives you the steps to do so.

    I fixed the issue on my own. On this day i found out in xbox gamebar that i cannot log in there on social tab.     i got it too today, a few things was added but the in the Social tab(where you access Facebook and Twitter)you know, where your friends list is, they replaced it with a button say Avatar Store. Really? Avatar Store in my Social tab? Nothing major but annoying
