why are all of my controllers are "drifting" up in the exact same way. WINDOWS 11

all three majors purchased their analog stick mechanisms from the same company. Parts like this are commodities, made by large manufacturers and bought by many people the exact same thing as the disc drives and many of the chips inside of every single electronic device

my lunch Xbox one controller has not developed drift yet it is currently 11 years old

Im getting drift on my second controller which I bought to replace my controller that came with the console, exact same issue on both. There surely is a fix for this because there is no way I am buying a third controller. My 360 controllers lasted years
for crying out loud!

I'm having the same exact problem - my left thumstick slowly drifting up - just started yesterday

I can't easily just 'rebuy' it though since it's the Titanfall controller

Update your controller on Windows 10/11 by using the Xbox Accessories app:

If you don’t already have the app installed, get it in the Store:

Microsoft Store

Open the Xbox Accessories app.

Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update.

Things to keep in mind

The Xbox Accessories app is available only on Windows 10/11.

Updating the controller over Bluetooth is not supported.

If it still does the same. Please download controller tester and check for stick drift.

I am having the exact same issue with both my COD Advanced Warfare controller and the second controller I purchased at the same time...both got horribly bad with drift after the update
