    Controller warranty?


    Last year on June 27th I saved and bought an elite series 2 controller from Xbox Design Lab, I had another elite controller prior to this which broke from the black grip coming apart the reason I bought my new controller was to replace the old one, my new controller is starting to do the same thing my old one did

    (I can feel the grip lifting when I hold it) and I haven’t even had it for a year is there anyway I can get this fixed? Like a refund or exchange? I feel for how much the controllers cost it shouldn’t be doing this. On my old controller it started on the left side and the right side was fine and it’s starting again on my left side with the new one.

    The length of warranty depends on your location/country

    I believe that controllers have a 90 day warranty

    controller warranty    , in the future for any controller. Your controller looks as it may be in warranty as the warranty is 120 days for a design lab controller.

    Standard warranty for Xbox accessories is 90 days, or 3 months. Unfortunately, it seems like you are outside of warranty. you can however, check your controllers serial number here : Controller
    Warranty

    If you are out of warranty, we can only recommend replacing the controller.
