    Good evening Microsoft, I have trouble downloading a certain game, Just Cause 3, I've tried many times to get this game to work, I bought this game a a game store on 6/2/25, I'm not sure if its something wrong with my Xbox series s or not, how do I fix this without hard resting my console...

    I understand that you are experiencing issues installing Just Cause 3.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please power cycle your console by pressing and holding the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Unplug the power cable and wait 3 minutes. Plug it back in and turn on your Xbox.

    And then clear alternate MAC address. To do this, press the Xbox button and go to Settings. Navigate to Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC Address. Select Clear, then restart your console.

    Next is to check your network connection to make sure that the connection is stable. Test your network speed in Settings > Network > Network settings. If there's an issue, restart your router and modem.

    If you're using Wi-Fi, switch to a wired Ethernet connection and see if the game installation works.

    Then remove and re-add your account. Go to Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select your account and remove it. Restart your console and add your account again. Once done, start the game installation again.

    Sorry to hear that your Xbox One won't give you back your game! You can definitely try to

    manually eject
    the game. That should do the trick and make your console give you back your disc.
