Spiderhunter v1 mic suddenly not working

Recently I bought a new gaming headset which was the hunterspider v1. Its mic had been working perfectly for a while until it suddenly stopped working. It used to be plugged on the singular headphone jack on my laptop and I still try plugging it in there but it doesn't work anymore. I've tried on multiples devices but it hasn't worked on any of them. The headset works just fine and noise comes through but the mic doesnt work and my voice or anything for that matter goes through.

Hey xreme, sorry to hear you're suddenly having trouble with your headset.

If the mic isn't working across multiple devices, it's likely a hardware issue with the headset itself. Since it is an unofficial Microsoft device, you will need to reach out to the manufacturer’s support team for further help. They may be able to offer a fix or possibly a replacement if it’s still under warranty.

In your Xbox settings try.

Power & Startup - Turn off or restart - FULL SHUTDOWN

I've had a similar issue this seems to remedy it.

It could be a controller issue, The headset may need an update too directly from the manufacturers site. What type of headset is it ? How old is it ?

It's an official Xbox One controller and was bought about 6 weeks ago.

I have tested my controller on another Xbox and it worked (with headset) just fine.

I have also tried it with two other controllers (with and without the stereo adapter) and still not working.

I have also tried all three controllers and another headset on another profile and still not working.
