Audio problem and clips problem

If your Series S only cuts audio during gameplay and it shows up in clips, here’s what to try:

1. Fully restart the console:

Hold the Xbox power button for 10 seconds

Wait 30 seconds, then power back on

This clears up system-level hiccups that might affect both gameplay and recordings

2. Change your audio settings:

Go to Settings > General > Volume & audio output

Under Speaker audio, set it to Stereo uncompressed

If you’re using a headset, go to Headset audio and try Windows Sonic for Headphones instead of Dolby

3. Switch capture location (if using external drive):

If clips are being saved to an external drive, switch to internal storage

Go to Settings > Preferences > Capture & share > Capture location

4. Test another game:

See if the issue happens in every game or just certain ones

If it's game-specific, it may be a bug with that title — reinstalling the game might help

5. Reset console (keep games and apps):

Go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console

Choose Reset and keep my games & apps

This keeps your data but can fix deeper system glitches

Same problem here. Clips I create now don't have audio and most of the new release community clips in the upload app lack audio as well.

Hi, I have recently had this same problem when recording clips on my Xbox One. The audio for two clips I recorded last night were about 2 to 3 seconds delayed from the video. I tried to not let it bother me, but after the problem hadn't seemed to go away
today, I researched it a bit to see if there was anything I could do. What worked for me was deleting the two clips that had delayed audio in them, then I shut off my Xbox, turned it on again and fired up GTA online to record some clips and see if the audio
was synced. I took a picture using the Snapmatic app on the in game phone and took a picture. When you take a picture it gives you a shutter sound when the camera takes the picture. This is a good way to see if your audio is synced. The audio on my clip was
perfectly synced and the problem hasn't come back. I recorded 3 clips today, and the audio is perfectly synced. I'm not sure if deleting the badly synced clips solved the problem or if shutting of the Xbox and unplugging it did the trick, but maybe these tips
can help some of you guys with this issue. I know it sucks having to delete some game clips, but it worked for me and maybe could work for you. Good luck!

After the latest update (the April Update) all of the recorded clips have no audio. I have seen other clips Xbox's Upload app that have the same problem.

Had no problems before but now all my Battlefield 4 clips have no audio using the "Xbox record that" command.
