    Disabling Quick Resume feature for Xbox Series X/S


    I have experienced bugs and crashes because of Quick Resume Features, that make my games files to corrupt and losing data, an example, playing some xbox 360 and xbox one games from an HDD or internal SSD or expansion storage unit are being afected, some DLC's got corrupted and had to uninstall and reinstall because of Quick Resume, I replaced the HDD and used another Expasion Storage unit and the issue is still there, I wish there will be an option to desable Quick Resume and not doing it manually everytime I will like to close the game, having an option to disable it will be great, havin it on by default but having the option to disable it on the system configuration for the Xbox Series X/S.

    Hi, when you open the game in your Series X. The game starts from the quick resume / the quick resume feature is used?
    Or did you open the game from the start?

    Quick resume isn't a xbox one feature it's a series feature

    You can expand the internal memory in a series x by using the xbox storage cards

    As they are nvme

    You cannot use a mechanical or ssd drive

    Please advise me are you playing on xbox series s/x or on pc?

    For xbox
    Go to settings>gaming>xbox network, wait for the test to finish, and click on ''fix''.
    Also please disable quick resume for the game.

    If this does not work, contact forza support website and log a ticket for the dev team.

    So I had a series s before this series x and I could’ve sworn whenever a game was opened it would automatically show I’m quick resume and it’s not doing that on my series x I can’t pin any games except cod vanguard

    Based on support article, it should have been that the console can at lease save more than 3 titles. However, you may be unable to go back to your saves when you have less memory.

    Quick Resume feature allows the Series X|S consoles to store three save states for full-memory Xbox Series X|S titles. Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox console titles use less memory, so the consoles can store more than three when these titles are saved.
