Using Xbox Family App to add Child account Code sent to child not working.

My daughter has tried to open that link:

https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional

In a InPrivate browser window, but when putting in her email address she gets this error
"We couldn't find a Microsoft account. Try entering your details again, or create an account."

We have then tried using that same link and create new account but now get this error
"You've requested too many codes today. Please try again tomorrow."

We have not yet been able to create the account on the MS end, so it should have no data at all. Are you able to see if the account is created on your system?

If not, please try creating a new account for her when the computer is connected to a mobile hotspot and see if it allows you to create the account and add it to family.

I have tried this. Connected her pc to a mobile network and when you try to recover the account it says no account can be found with that email. If you then try to create account it still give the "You've requested too many codes today. Please try again tomorrow." error.

When you first created the account, how did you do this and were you asked to add her to a family during the sign-up process?

The code issue stems from the IP address. As the site is detecting that you have tried creating the account or getting a code from the same IP it has triggered the system behind the scenes to flag the account activity as suspicious. This will prevent codes from been sent for 24 hours.

However, I can't seem to work out why the account doesn't exist. Does she have any data stored on that account?

If not, please try creating a new account for her when the computer is connected to a mobile hotspot and see if it allows you to create the account and add it to family.

Is your daughter able to sign into her account in an InPrivate browsing window here: Additional security options

Please can you make sure there is additional security info such as an email address that can be used if the account needs to be recovered. In the same InPrivate browsing window, please can you try accepting the invitation.

Ive Just trued using the link above for Microsoft Family Safety, It allows me to add a member, which I put the child's email address.

That child then receives an email saying **** has invited you to a family group

She clicks the accept invitation, it detect she does not have an existing account giving this exact error "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or ."

She then clicks the "create new account" at the bottom of the page

Proceeds to enter the code sent to her email, add her country, DOB, first name and last name, then gets this error
