Why can't I redeem my microsoft rewards?

    I have tried 100 times to redeem the PC game pass on the xbox app in the rewards section and everytime I hit redeem it just says "something went wrong"

    Never received my rewards!

    It was for xbox rewards though. I redeemed my xbox rewards points for microsoft credit so it is for xbox rewards not microsoft rewards.
