why wont Xbox app open up?

Please check Xbox services by opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Services tab, and ensure that XblAuthManager, XblGameSave, and XboxNetApiSvc are running. If they aren't, right-click and select Start.

And then reset the Xbox App. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Xbox, click Advanced options, and select Reset.

Next is to clear Microsoft Store cache. Open Run (Windows + R), type wsreset.exe, and press Enter.

Then check date and time settings. Do this by going to Settings > Time & language > Date & time, and enable Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.

After that is to update Windows and Xbox App. Make sure that your system is up to date by going to Settings > Windows Update and checking for updates. Also, update the Xbox app via the Microsoft Store.

Once done, do run Windows Store troubleshooter. Kindly go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, find Windows Store Apps, and run the troubleshooter.

Next, have you tried clearing the cache of the Xbox app? Here's how you can do it:



1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter.

3. Wait for the command to complete and then try opening the Xbox app again.



If that doesn't work, let's try resetting the app. Here's how:



1. Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.

2. Click on Apps.

3. Find the Xbox app and click on it.

4. Click on Advanced options.

5. Scroll down and click on Reset.


Check the Xbox service if its up and running. To do this, follow the steps"

1. Windows key and R key on your keyboard in the same time to open the Run command.
2. Type services.msc
3. Look for Xbox service
4. Right click go to properties
5. Startup set it to Automatic
6. Start the service by clicking the START option
7. Apply and ok

If the issue still persists, you can try updating your graphics card drivers and Windows updates. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with apps.

This twitch update is SO BROKEN. after the update every time i open the twitch app. something happens, no other app, no games after that can open and the xbox one wont turn off at all. The only way to reset this is to do a hard reset. THERE IS NO EXCUSE
WHY THIS APP IS MAKING THIS MACHINE DIE. no excuse!

So, I did everything you said; Went to my PC settings, searched for the xbox app, restarted and repaired, then opened up the Run app, put in WSrestart.exe, restarted my pc, but it still wont download.

Edit: there was no option for opening as admin for Run
