Is the core series 2 left analog stick supposed to circle smooth or rough

My left analog stick does not rotate smooth. there is resistance and almost a rough/ridge feel when rotating in a circle.

I have adjusted tension but still the same

The issue is Ive sent the controller in for warranty coverage...... 3 times. Each device that is sent back to me is behaving the same way out of the box. Is there now an issue with Ivy Technology who is in charge of device warranty and repair ? I feel like they are just swapping out the same controller without the issue being fixed ???

I have both and like the series 2 way better.

Using the Accessories app, I tried all the Left and Right stick sensitivity settings to get them to my liking.

Left stick: Smooth sensitivity curve

Right stick: Instant sensitivity curve
