Xbox Right Trigger Rendering Delay

@Gotthestones Sometime I will see this too and notice that the system that show on your dashboard promotions are often delayed due to some sort of tech issue with your network or missing update this can cause a delayed or the system didn't refresh so promotions
for xbox live or even sales and special are expired but youre still seeing the old promotion often I find that refreshing the dashboard by using Dashboard refresh button Left Trigger Right Trigger and Y button will refresh your dashboard for next time
if it is known promotion you can definitely check with xbox customer support to see if they can find any current promotion.

If the controller is still under guarantee and has has not been dropped or damaged you could send it for repair.

If not under guarantee you can request and exchange/repair of your current controller but the price difference between this and a new controller you could just purchase a new one and keep this one for a spare or when you have friends around.

If the controller is a few years old and you use is a lot, you might have to get another one.

I used to have two controllers and switch between them every few days so they wouldn't wear out as fast. It's also good to have a spare controller in case a friend wants to play.

I always find an alcohol wipe and a can of compressed air work a treat when this happens to me or my friends. With the can of air i compress it and uncompress the trigger as you use it.

The wipes I wipe round the sides of the trigger as that's where dirt and grease get inside, compress the trigger a few times then do it again.

I've seen videos of people using cotton wool buds while the trigger is compressed to do this as well
