Bugged mic in xbox party

Hello there!!!

I was playing with my friends and in a moment, them can´t hear me. I cheacked with the support team and we didn´t find the probelm, at least on my configuration. I tried to use mi mic in other games and apps and works, but in the xbox party doesn´t work. My PC is a ASUS TUF GAMING A15 in case and in 3 times I restarted my PC.

Anyone with this problem?, I tried the common advices but didn´t work.

Is the mic an xbox usb mic or just a 3rd party mic? If it's 3rd party it may not work with the titles properly.

hey how did you use your mic in xbox app party chat in the first place? i launched "start a party (beta)" and it shows my mic, but i can't talk or hear anyone in the party chat. and my mic is the default recording device

Are you using the standard mic that comes with the Xbox or another 3re party mic?

Hydro Skillet you may be right but the console should notify him if is XBL is running out so it may be that he still bugging into party's but it restricts his mic or the account he uses for the forums is different from his primary account.

is it your mic that is too loud or is it other people you are in a party with?

to adjust the sensitivity of the mic, press the Xbox button on the controller then press RB 3 times to get to the System tab and select Audio from the options there.

this will allow you to turn down mic monitoring so your mic is less sensitive.

if it is other people in your party who have their mics too sensitive then they will have to adjust the mic monitoring on their Xbox
