    you would need to ask your schools IT department about potential solutions. The laptop is their property

    Probably you cannot change your account settings because your account is a child account. Child accounts cannot change their Xbox profile privacy settings. Doesn't matter if they are on a family group or not.

    If you need to change your privacy settings, please ask a parent to create a family group, invite you to the group as a member and change your privacy settings for you.
