• What Xbox device are you using in doing this process? ex. Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Windows computer
  
• Were you able to do this before or this is your first time?

We are not 100% sure if Discord requires a certain process to do this. If you check the link we provided, you are required to link your Xbox and Discord accounts using the same account. I know right, like I have so many friends who can't talk to me since I'm on Xbox like how can Mobile chat but not Xbox,I just don't get it

We have to use discord,Xbox app,or if there is voice chat but a certain age is required.

I understand that you want to chat through the headset and game audio should be on the speakers.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please access audio settings by pressing the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Navigate to Profile & System > Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output.

Under the Volume section, look for Party Chat Output.

Select Headset for party chat audio to come through your headset only.

And for the game audio output. Make sure that your Audio Setup is configured to output game audio through your TV speakers. You might need to select the appropriate audio format under Speaker Audio (e.g., Stereo Uncompressed).

Next is to go to Discord audio settings. In the Discord app on your Xbox, check if there are any specific audio settings that allow you to route voice chat separately.

Once everything is done, start a game and join a Discord voice chat to confirm that party chat is coming through your headset and game audio is playing through your TV speakers.

Why isn't there an option on to have the chat audio come through TV speakers, headphones, or both like there was on the las XBOX. Seems like a very poor decision to get rid of those options. I want the chat audio coming through my television and headseat
like I used to do with the XBOX360. How is there no fix for this yet?
