why are my games freezing all the time

Hi i have been having this problem with several games such as Doom the dark ages, Escape from tarkov, and warthunder. When i am playing these games and ive done so for about 3 minutes or so the whole game freezes and cpu usage in task manager drops. i have no clue what is going on i have not had this problem any other time but now pls help.

i have the latest drivers. and an rtx 4060. and amd ryzen 7 cpu

Please check if your motherboard BIOS is outdated, it might not fully support the RTX 4060, leading to GPU hangs. Please check your motherboard manufacturer’s website for the latest BIOS update.

And then temporarily disable background apps and overlays like NVIDIA ShadowPlay, Discord, or Xbox Game Bar because they can interfere with games.

Next is to use monitoring software to keep an eye on your temperatures, GPU usage, and CPU usage right before the freeze.

Then check the Windows event viewer for any error logs or warnings that occur at the time of the freeze because this can provide clues whether the issue is driver-related or something else.

My game freezes every single time hainan resort comes up as the next map, 100% of the time. Its pathetic, why are we still having this issue? Why release a game that doesnt work. If anyone is thinking about buying bf4, I recommend waiting until it isnt the
worst game of 2013 for glitching. I want to like the game, but as it is, all I want to do is destroy it

I have a similar problem, such as the Black Ops freezing after a certain amount of ingame time. Do all your games freeze? Some of my games freeze at startup, and others gave graphical glitches, while others freeze after entering gameplay. Whats really weird
is that FIFA 10 freezes at startup, but FIFA 11 doesn't freeze at all.

If it can't help, you should provide us more details (Does the console freeze with all games or only with specific titles? Does it also freeze when in idle?)
