Xbox X controller sync issue

Discus and support Xbox X controller sync issue in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I can start my console by pressing the x button on my controller, but as soon the system starts it just starts flashing.     Xbox X controller sync issue


    I can start my console by pressing the x button on my controller, but as soon the system starts it just starts flashing. I have:

    1. Paired the device multiple times

    2. I have updated the controller

    3. Disconnected power and paired

    4. Reset the system

    Nothing has fixed the problem and both controllers do the same thing - one elite and one standard.

    Hi Javier, I walked through this but this doesnt help. Pressing the sync button on the xbox one x is not doing anything. Its a console issue not a controller issue.

    Sync the Controller:
    To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
    Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
    While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
    Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.

    This does not work as in order to update the controller it need to be connected to the xbox. I thought it was my controller and i got a whole new one to experience the same issue..Even when i have it plugged in it is still not syncing and the sync button
    on my xbox one x is not working at all.

    Please try to connect the controller first to your phone via wireless/Bluetooth connection and see if that will work.

    Is the xbox 1 x controller suposed to turn on the xbox one x console?

    ALSO, if you just bought the Xbox One X, and haven't tried pairing/syncing the controller, try plugging it in via USB to sync it. ;)
