    Why is my saved data gone


    I went to try and play forza 4 and all of my saved data was gone. It completely reset the game I’ve had hundreds of hours on and I don’t know why or how to fix it.

    But if the app is gone why does the data in files go too?

    Why isn’t the data saved to my account? So if the app is gone your data be on your Microsoft account.

    How can I stop this from happening again?

    I can play the game just fine, it even says it's "saving" while in game, but if I quit to the main menu there's no continue option and it acts like a new game.

    Hello AresPeverell, try to put your console in offline mode and start the game and see if it pulls the save that was previously there.

    If this does not happen unfortunately it will not be possible to recover your save.
