    Before, fortnite updates were a maximum of 10GB, and now they are a minimum of 40GB

    -Update- (It worked)

    I noticed in the set-up update stage it started to quicken up at around 40-50% then i felt it was going to work and it did! woohoo :D

    Yes, you can add an external. Some of the games being released are upwards of 40-50 GB in size, so that 500 GB HDD can fill up pretty darn fast.
