@Josephdakid99 So your saying an account that wasnt your to begin with has been taken on you? The sale or trade of Xbox accounts is against the TOU. Please read them.

If the account was not yours to begin with then I doubt you will get it back. If you have any Payment Options attached to the account then I would suggest you cancel them, provided that support cant help you remove them from the account first.

Finally, the account getting stolen is not Microsoft's fault. The security on the account is totaly down to what information the owner has put in when creating the account i.e Password, Security question etc. and how well you keep that information from other
people.

The only definitive way to secure an account is that if Microsoft created the account for you and then did not provide you with any of the information or even allow you to access it all. Think about it.

Call support and have them start an unauthorized access investigation.

I'd also be sure to change the Gamertag's associated Windows Live ID, security question(s), update any other recovery information (such as other email addresses AND their passwords, security questions and answers) along with all passwords too.
