And then clear local saved data and cache because a corrupted cache or temporary files can interfere with installations. To do this, eject the disc and navigate to Settings > System > Storage or Settings > Disc & Blu-ray, depending on your system version and look for options to clear local saved games or cached data.

If you install a game from disc you most often will be asked if you want to upgrade the game.

Always answer this question with NO during the installation process.

After the installation is finished start the game and upgrade it then.
