Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum,I apologize for a delay in response.

It may be due to the Premium Upgrade, they may have purchased it to get early access. There is a DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Upgrade which you can purchase separately to get the Premium benefits which includes the 2-Day Early Access. It's just an upgrade, so it does not include base game.

Regardless of your parents taking restrictions off, EA Online requires you be at least the age of 13+ in order to be able to play on their online services. You will not be able to play FIFA 13 until your account is at least the age of 13+. You will need to

Have you set correct date on account Gamertag and Ea account?

Its a lot fun that Doom Ethernal and animal crossing went on sale the same day and I haven't played doom even though it was or is in game pass

The online pass is for the console, not the user. Once the online pass is installed anyone over the age of 13 can play the game online.
