  1. Will I lose progress if I Migrate to new gen twice on gta v

After I migrate my old account to next gen gta v and make progress on it if I go back and play on the old gta and re migrate to next gen to save the new progress will I lose the original progress on new gen after originally migrating?

Ps: I migrated to new gen on Xbox and bought a few cars n stuff and then went back to old gen to play a heist with a friend so I wanna know if I can migrate my account again to save the money to new gen but I’m worried ill lose the cars I bought on new gen originally

    :)

aight so on gta 5 old gen my progress is way ahead of the new gen so how do i fix that so it can be the same as old gen

    Hello Sotana,

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum,I apologize for a delay in response.

I'm afraid it is not possible to sync your old gen and new gen progress for GTA V after migration. They are separate so any additional progress made on old gen version after the migration has taken place will not carry over. This is applicable for both Story Mode and Online progress.

"Once your progress has been transferred from PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, your migrated profile will be retained on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. GTA Online progress made on different console generations will not be synced after migration."

old gen to new gen question

    Hello Richyy,

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I apologize for a delay in response.

Yes, you can continue to use your GTA Online profile on your old gen version, but as you mentioned the progress on old gen and new gen version will be separate after migration.

@Redwae : ...I'm pretty sure,Rockstar will do a PC version...About a next gen version, maybe but after tthey releases all the DLCs... So in a year or two....But i prefer to get a GTA V on this current gen and get on a next gen console GTA VI and a new Red
Dead instead off a HD remix of GTA V.

New gen and old gen account

Hi Jttt999, my name is Rodrigo. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

Please, can you give more details?

Do you mean your Rockstar Account?

    If yes, take note:

"To revert your GTA Online profile migration from Xbox Series X|S back to Xbox One, please contact support using the following link:

    https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/200013306?step=9b49702e

IMPORTANT: Reversing your GTA Online profile back to your Xbox One will revert your GTA Online profile progress back to when you chose to migrate to Xbox Series X|S. You will lose any progress made since that initial migration."

If you "downgrade" your account version, you won't be able to use it on the "new gen" consoles, you would need to migrate it again.

    I hope this helps.
