Cloud sync failing

I did manage to get the Horizon sync completed, no idea how long it took though as I just left it and went back to the console 4 hours later and it was all done. However the Fusion sync is still problematic as it appears to get to 100% and then informs me
the sync failed.

Have even removed profile and re-downloaded it.

Well the plot thickens... got an update for Fusion last night and after that was applied upon starting the game I was presented with a choice of using the local data or the cloud data, which was the first time I had been given the option. So after selecting
the local data, as it was newer, it sync'd in no time at all. And after quitting the game and restarting it, after a quick play of FX 2, there was no problem it came up saying it was syncing data and a split second later was done.

So this can now be closed as the issue appears to be resolved.

Well I played Forza 5 for the first time in ages and had to wait a while for the sync to happen and when it got to 100% it informed me the sync had failed, so I tried again and that worked fine.

However with Trials Fusion no matter how many times I retry it always fails, other games like Forza, Horizon 2 and Riptide can fail to sync at time but a retry usually works. Not with Fusion which does not seem to do the same level of negotiating that the
other games seem to do, just a quick check and fail.

Is it possible to get the data for Fusion removed from the cloud so the data on the concole can be re-uploaded?

So this issue seems to be resolved.

The longer you leave playing a game the longer it appears to take to sync your save games from the cloud.

For Forza I recommend setting it going and leave it until it completes. I have 150mbps and I hadn't played Forza 5 in a few months and when I went back to it the cloud sync took about 5 minutes. So on a slower connection or longer time since playing a game
last might add to that wait time.

I think Microsoft saves costs by moving older saves periodically to slower and more cost effective storage pulling only recently used saves into faster storage.

As for Trials, I'm not sure what could be going on there.
