First i would like to clarify, i advocate completely with these services. it adds a productive routine road of content to unlock. in which gamers feel rewarded for investing their time playing the game while unlocking new items such as cosmetics and rewards. This is a far better system compared to loot boxes which cause such controversy in the past, within the gaming community. What i would like to say, is that not everyone can complete all the battle pass or season pass events. Its very time investment to play hours for clearing this content. For example: i may complete season pass one and two, but eventually i willingly want to skip season pass three. Then when i come back in the game either during season pass four or five. I feel i miss out some content that i wish to go back and do those seasons. But the game does not work that way apparently unless i have a time machine (figuratively speaking). The thing is players wish to disengage the game over time for many reasons. Such as burn out from playing heavily for many hours and weeks. sometimes investing into something consistently will come to a road block, and thats the "burn out" of gaming. Thus the player disengages and tries other games. Then there are other reasons such as real-life endeavors when the player must meet their responsibility and obligations in life. There are also many gamers with the completionist mentality (gotta catch em all) enthusiastic gamers investing their time to complete everything similar to completing all the achievements and or trophies. This is the current predicament many players face, including myself. We wish we can replay the battle pass or season pass we missed the opportunity by either willingly or many other factor reasons. So i would like to suggest that the gaming development team or the coordinator marketing team try a solution to this situation. What i suggest is having a time frame of no season pass or battle pass (maybe 2 months) and players can buy season pass or battle pass from the backlog ready available to buy in the store page of the game. That way players wont feel incomplete or having a void of not finishing these extra content which adds the full experience of enjoying the game.
