I keep getting this disconnected alert on forza horizon 5

If it shows "Strict" or "Moderate" you need to adjust router settings or enable UPnP.

Next is to do port forwarding to have a more stable connection. Here are the recommended ports for Xbox:

TCP: 53, 80, 3074

UDP: 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 4500 You can adjust these in your router settings.

Then check game updates. Please ensure the game is fully up to date with the latest patch.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall and then reinstall the game because the problem can be related to the game files. This will delete the corrupted files of the game too.

I'm pretty sure. Only Forza horizon 5 has this problem. I downloaded and installed Forza horizon 4 again. There is no problem. Games on other platforms also work normally.Forza horizon 5 can only enter the game when the network is disconnected, and then turn on the network, Can play normally.

Please check your Internet Connection. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If you're using Wi-Fi, kindly give it a try in switching to a wired connection. Restart your router and modem to see if that helps.

And then update Forza Horizon 5. Make sure your game is updated to the latest version. Go to Profile & system > My games & apps > Full library > All owned games > Forza Horizon 5 > Manage game & add-ons > Updates.

Next is set a manual DNS, please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4
