    Why does my xbox series x keeps signing me out whenever I turn off the console?


    I am trying to use the remote play feature but it does not work because my xbox account keeps signing out whenever i turn off the console for it to go into standby mode. It isnt suppose to get signed out because i have used it perfectly before and recently it became a problem. Also my instant sign in thing doesnt work. I got to keep choosing who is playing everytime.

    I can understand your concern and please don't worry I am here to help you.

    This may be due to connection problems, I recommend trying to switch to an Ethernet cable connection instead of connecting directly to Wi-Fi. If this is not possible, it is also advisable to connect to an alternate Wi-Fi network.

    It is also important that you have the “Instant Sign in” option enabled on your console.

    I have almost the same problem except the error message says

    “if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

    Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

    I have an xbox series x. When turning the xbox on with a controller the system will turn on then immediately turn off and start again.
    Does this happen if you use the console on/off button?

    Is the console OS and the controller firmware up to date?

    Yes, it is stuck on that prompt when I'm and trying to find the series x. I tried signing out and signing back in on the app and the console. Also tried to restart the console and did a hard reset but no luck. Unless I need to keep restarting?

    Message on app: Turn on your console and sign in with your account. I shows my gamertag there under the message.

    Xbox series x controller not turning off after system shut down

    figured it out. Xbox series X wont turn off your controller or respond to the controller once its on a off state if your console is in ENERGY SAVER mode. In order to be able to turn your xbox on with the controller you must be in STANDBY mode. Thats a stupid move by Microsoft to force you to keep wasting power in order to turn on you console with the controller.
