I dont know why my minecraft Java edition wont open

i have an issue where when i try to run Java edition it will tell me that the game is running but only when i check on task manager. The launcher runs fine on its own but i only started running into issues when i try to run Java. i haven't opened the game in a while until today and i have been having this issue for a couple hours now. i have reinstalled the launcher and game many times and i even did so through the Microsoft store with no change in the outcome. when i tried running Bedrock it opened immediately but it seemed Java was messed up so i reinstalled Java and nothing changed i don't know what else i can do to fix my situation please help.

Hey Ariel, sorry you're dealing with issues launching Minecraft. I understand how annoying that can be. I'm here to help you in any way I can.

Are you using any mods or texture packs? Sometimes those can cause problems when launching.

Try uninstalling the versions you have and reinstalling using the direct download from this page instead of the Microsoft Store:

Check if any background processes or software are interfering with the launch, such as antivirus programs. Try running the game as an administrator to see if that resolves any permission issues. Additionally, you could try deleting/renaming the .minecraft folder (after backing up your worlds and other data) to reset your settings. For minecraft there's the open inventory achievement which is pretty self explanatory and it wont unlock, I also dont know why my account would be under a suspension?

Bedrock edition opens fine, its literally just java edition, i want to play hypixel but it literally wont open

same thing, my brother buyed a minecraft for me, but version that i got is only bedrock edition without java i don't know why it's happened.

Windows 10 minecraft and java edition are both two different types of Editions unfortunately you would have to buy the java edition on the minecraft website.
