STEP 1: POWER DRAIN (ROUTER)

1. Unplug power cable at the back of your router

2. Press the power button for 15 seconds. This will remove the remaining power.

3. Wait 5 minutes.

4. Plug the power cable back and wait for all the lights to turn green.

5. Restart your console b y pressing and holding the Xbox button on your controller > Restart Console.

6. Test the game and see if you'll get disconnected

STEP 2: CHANGE DNS SETTINGS

1. Go to Settings

2. Network

3. Network Settings

4. Advanced Settings

5. Select DNS Settings

6. Manual

7. Enter the information below:

8. Enter 8.8.8.8 as Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as Secondary DNS.

9. Restart your Xbox

10. Test the game and see if you'll get disconnected

STEP 3: USE A DIFFERENT NETWORK

1. Try using Mobile Hotspot. Connect your Mobile Phone to a Data Connection > Turn on HotSpot > Connect your Xbox to that HotSpot > Test the game and see if it disconnects.

While Civilization: Revolution is a great game, it isn't a real time strategy game, as it is turn based.

I'll play any Civilization game with you over Steam. Revolution wasn't great. It's not a bad game, but it's really limited.

Whatever you do avoid Civilization Revolution. It seems cool at first but it ends up being a giant mess that looks like it was thrown together by people who never played a Civilization game before. It's an embarrassment to the series. I'd rather play Civ
1 on NES.

Now I got Sid Mier's Civilization Revolution and Caton to play with.
