  1. Xbox Series X Controller connects and works well, but keeps blinking

My OS is Windows 10. When I connect Xbox Series X Controller through an USB to USB-C cable to the motherboard USB port, it connects and works well, however, the Xbox Button on the controller keeps slowly blinking. If I connect through Bluetooth, the button doesn't blink, but I want to use it with the cable. I can use the controller fine, but the blinking is annoying, and as far as I know this isn't expected behaviour. I tried disconnecting it from the Device Manager, and than connecting again - in this case the blinking stops, but after disconnecting and connecting the cable once (I usually disconnect the cable when controller is not in use), it starts blinking again. Is there anything that could be done to stop the blinking?

    :)

Xbox Series X Controller connects and works well, but keeps blinking

    Hi ЧирковНикита,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with your controller whenever you use it on your Windows 10 PC.

A blinking Xbox controller usually indicates a problem with the connection between the controller and the PC, often due to syncing issues or low batteries.

To isolate your issue, please try to use a different USB cable that supports data transfer and fast charging.

If you're still experiencing issues, try to use a different battery.

    Regards,

    Alvaro

Xbox Series X Sync button/synced controller stopped. Sync button must work as I am able to get to BIOS. Sync button wont blink.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting, I did not know that it was "wirelessly" connected while connected to a USB C Data Cord. As soon as I unplug, it stays disconnected (in sync mode the controller also keeps blinking then turns off). If this is right I don't know why I also can't sync any of my other Xbox controllers to the series X unless connected with a cord (works on an One X controller also, stops when unplugged). I don't know why the sync button (blinking) stopped operating all together.

I replaced my batteries and tried to pull and place back in earlier with no luck. I also updated the controller as I set up as new.

The interesting thing is I am able to use the series X controller perfectly on PC wirelessly with windows 10/Xbox PC adapter. I have no problems on PC wireless.

Xbox Series X Controller Blinks Twice

If your Xbox Series X controller blinks twice, it usually means that the batteries are low or the connection with the console has been lost. Here's what you can try:

    1. Replace the batteries: If the batteries are low, the controller will blink twice repeatedly. Try replacing the batteries with fresh ones and see if it solves the problem.

    2. Re-sync the controller: To re-sync the controller with the console, press and hold the pairing button on the console until the light starts flashing. Then, press and hold the pairing button on the controller until the light on the controller begins to blink rapidly. Wait a few seconds for the controller to connect.

    3. Check for interference: Certain wireless devices or objects may interfere with the controller's signal. Make sure there aren't any devices or obstacles blocking the signal between the controller and the console.

If none of the above solutions work, you may need to contact Xbox support for further assistance.
