Hacker stole money from Chase Credit & Amazon

On may 5, 2025 I tried to login to my email but it had been deactivated from my cell# but it had broken screen 7 weeks just got repaied this last Friday 5-2-2025. On 5-5 I checked my credit card balance for a monthly payoff. It was over my limit so I paid the whole balance but wondered how I spent so much as I was aware of all major items so Opened calendar and began adding each charge and came upon a $421.78 Item listed as "Amazon Shopping" I called Chase immediately to dispute charge and found that the hacker also took $77.22 from my Amazon Rewards to purchase a $499.00 Razer Gift Card and put it on my hacked email which I was now locked out of possibly by him/her not knowing security questions and not yet known if they successfully retrieved the card #'s or access codes from my email account all relevant Passwords were available within Microsoft Xbox Wallet in my account on MS Edge Browser and They also had me locked out of my Amazon account as well. I have saved the access information Microsoft logged on tried to get into my account of which I am currently logged on/into. I did just request to block access when it showed me all the attempts from today and since 4-21-2025 as that is the date of the charges on my Chase account. I do not yet know if that was ALL they took but I have deleted ALL passwords on my Xbox Series X. I need a way to secure it frome such intrusion if that was indeed where the relevant data was stolen as it had all the needed passwords but I have three security questions and one is not even known by wife or adult kids. I was hoping that may have blocked them from getting their reward for the crime. The information you provided as I was logging in just now and asked if I recognized the login attempt and location map and I DO NOT recognize the place on map nore all the attempts to access. I may have a couple on list but they would only be from my Xbox or this current Cellphone I am using this minute. My credit account asks me to verify EVERY purchase over $50 but this phone was down with a broken screen so I did not see a notification and tjough it was such a peaceful several weeks with no phone ringing constantly it turns out bad things happen even when you think it is peaceful. This device & cell # will shortly be transferred to a new device. How do I secure my network from intrusion in future. A PAY FOR VPN Service..? Thank you for ANY ASSISTANCE YOU can provide me. You have the information and possibly more if you can track the MAC or provide the MAC of Device FOR ME & POLICE IF YOU CAN. I'M Willing To Make A Small Donation For Such Information As I Will Take Action..! Thanks again.!

I’m sorry to hear that your account is being targeted by unauthorized access attempts and that someone is using your account to purchase something using your credit card. First, I would recommend the following with regard to the charges on your payment method.

1. Contact your bank or your payment provider to prevent more charges.

2. Tell them your credit card has been stolen or compromised.

Note: If you only dispute the charges, there's nothing to prevent the fraudulent charges from happening again.

3. Once a new bank or credit card has been issued by your bank, you will need to update your Microsoft account.

Moreover, it seems likely that others may know your email address and are trying to sign in to reset your password or change your email. To secure your account, I recommend changing your primary email address. Please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/profile

2. Under Account info > Click on Sign-in Preferences

Note: It will ask you to verify your account, enter the password again or enter a code that will be sent to your email address.

3. Under Account aliases > Click on Add email.

4. Choose Create a new email address and add it as an alias > Enter your desired email. That will be for example *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

5. You will be redirected to previous page again and Under Account aliases > choose your new email address and make it Primary.

6. Now, under Sign-in Preference, uncheck your previous email.

Note: This will be your new email address for your account. You can use your new email address temporary so that hackers will no longer be able to use your previous email address. Use the same password that you have for this account. You can use it for like a week then you can revert it back to your previous email. Using your new email address, if someone will try to sign in using your previous email, they will get " Account does not exist" Error.
