Is MS ever going to fix the downloading problem with the Xbox app on pc?

I literally cannot even download a game on the Xbox app on my pc it’s that bad. I have 1200+Mbps internet via Ethernet wires connection to my pc and I am NOT EVEN GETTING 1Mbps DOWNLOAD SPEED. That’s right, downloading in the Kbps. I can’t download anything it’s so slow, and is particularly a problem in the Xbox app as everything else like steam works absolutely fine. Before I get more useless responses like everyone else with this problem:

- yes, I’ve checked my internet and modem, everything is operating properly.

-yes I checked my speed to my PC, it is over 1300Mbps, 1307.09Mbps to be exact, 1.3+Gbps

-yes I restarted router, no difference

-yes I cleared the cache, no difference

-yes I checked the settings to make sure no download limit is enabled

-yes I paid my internet bill it is on

- yes I know how to plug an Ethernet cord into a pc

-No, I do not have anything else occupying all of the bandwidth on a 1.3Gbps connection across both 2.4 and 5ghz bands in my one single home

Is Microsoft ever going to address this clearly prevalent problem that many many of us have been experiencing and figure out what’s wrong and fix it? Or are you just going to continue ignoring it and pretending it’s just us who are too incompetent to connect a cord from a modem to a pc? There is a major problem in you’re Xbox app software that needs to be fixed

I never get speeds lower than this on pc xbox app, i am on gigabit fibre and always bounce around 90MB to 114MB down rate. so nothing wrong really, also the app is a frontend, all the downloading takes place via the xbox store in the background.

Xbox shares servers with all Microsoft services, and bandwidth is throttled based on current loads, the size of the files and other factors. Download speeds are typically capped at 250mbps which allows most games to be downloaded in an hour.

Typically a restart will improve speeds.

It's up to you on if you want to continue the rewards program. I think it's worth it even if it doesn't work half the time. I did experience some of what you're talking about but it was only temporary and fixed on its own. Most of the time, emailing the
support staff is super easy and fast to get problems resolved.

A lot of people have been complaining. The more people report it, the sooner it'll be addressed

Support looked into it, there actually was an issue with the app, they rolled out a fix, hopefully everyone that was having issues sees improvement.
