I'm tryna play forza on ps5 it says i need link account to play but I don't have a Microsoft account I tried make one it still says I need link

I'm trying to link a new Microsoft account to my Playstation 5, so I can create a Realm world for my friend and I to play on. After I enter the code and password for my account, the page takes me a "Create an Xbox Profile" page, and I can't get past it without making an account. Trying to go back restarts the whole process. What am I doing wrong?
