$10 for a gamertag???

When I was 8 I used my one gamertag change and I made my name Fortnite man369, and now I'm regretting it 7 years later, I really want to change my username because that's how it shows in all games and I hate it, why can't you just use and in-game name and counteract you Xbox name like COD, I find it stupid that you need to spend $10 to change it, people with money don't care and they can afford that, but lower income families that hurts them, expecialy when their child makes a stupid name. Most apps use a 90 day or 9 weeks wait to change a username not a payment, people are just as likely to stick with their names with a 90 day wait than a $10 change, plus they realize they don't want that username or they really like it over the 90 day period. I just don't get why the price is so high, I'm 15 and I don't have $10 to be throwing around at stupid decisions I made when I was 8, I asked my parents but they say pay for it yourself. And for lower income families that $10 can be the difference between a meal and no meal, $5 wouldn't be horrible but still pricey. But $10 is just outrageous. It would be better if they gave you one username change per year or 2 then spending $10 to just fix a costly mistake I made as an 8 year old and have gotten teased about the username and picked on because of it, because Fortnite man369 is a horrible username, but still better than Runawayeel1489, but I've had this username for almost 6-7 years now and have regretted it for the past 2-3 years. I get this is to make people think about their user, but $10 isn't gonna stop people from making stupid users and changing them a week later, a more sense full way is allowing them to change it every 2 years, this would require more thought as this is going to be the user your stuck with for two years. I get Microsoft is all about the money, but this is outrageous and exploit full, along with downright stupid and a massive scam, because anyone who can fling $10 around ain't going to care expecialy when it's their parents buying it those people can change it like every week if they want to.
