Assistance Needed: Fraudulent EA Account Linked to My Xbox Profile — EA Refusing to Unlink

I’m reaching out to the Microsoft community and support team for guidance regarding an ongoing issue involving a fraudulent third-party (EA) account that is currently linked to my Xbox profile.

After identifying that my Xbox account had been connected to an EA account I do not recognize or control, I contacted EA Support through two official cases. Despite providing proof of ownership of my Xbox/Microsoft account and referencing Microsoft’s written confirmation that only EA can manage unlinking, EA has refused to take action. They claim that the matter must be handled by Microsoft, which directly contradicts what Microsoft Support previously informed me.

EA's support team stated:

However, Microsoft Support previously confirmed that only EA has the ability to unlink an EA account from an Xbox profile.

• Clarification from Microsoft on whether there is any escalation path internally to help resolve a case like this involving suspected unauthorized linking.
  
• Confirmation on Microsoft’s role or ability to support unlinking, or whether this responsibility lies solely with EA.
  
• Guidance on how to proceed when EA refuses to escalate or take action, even when fraud is suspected.
