    Can you add a fade element to muting and unmuting through the audio tab in xbox game bar?


    Hello, thought this would be a helpful enhancement to help create a better user experience for people using the game bar/ windows mixer functionality.

    Recommendation:

    1. open game bar
    2. tab to the audio icon
    3. have an additional volume selector to fade too after unmuting

    Try muting your audio and then unmuting it in the xbox audio settings

    My mic won’t work and I can’t hear anybody else talking but I have tried different headsets and controllers

    Hey Squngebob! I had this problem a few months back. Hopefully my fix will work for you!

    In the Xbox menus there are actually two different microphone mutes.

    One is located in the party chat, by hitting "Y" to mute/unmute.

    The other is in the "Audio & Music" tab at the bottom right of the dashboard. Inside "Audio & Music" there will be a Headset Mic ON/OFF switch. Mine was somehow set to off. I hope this helps.

    A Recommendation for the SNAP feature.

    I want the option to mute the audio of a snapped ap/tv. If I'm playing a game and watching tv I want to have the option to mute/unmute the tv audio.

    Are you using a headset on the 3.5mm controller plug?

    You can change the Audio Settings pressing the Xbox button on your controller and go to Settings, and there will have a Audio option where you can mute or unmute your headset and microphone.
