How do i play rainbow 6 siege on my pc using the xbox app?

i cant download rainbow 6 siege or any xbox games because it redirects me to buy ultimate even though i have pc gamepass. i tried to restart the app and my pc but nothing worked. the xbox app also just doesn't even load the option to download games. very frustrated.

you need to have your account linked with Ubisoft and use their app to download it. They handle their own games on PC

Rainbow Six: Siege currently supports cross-play and cross-progression in the same family of consoles, and between PC and Stadia.

This means you can move your progress between either your PC and Stadia account, your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, or your Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

From what I understand, you don't get your Xbox characters and progress on PC.
