    I'm having issues accessing my "FireSeal3419" account. This one will need some context, though

    Sometime on July 10, 2022, I created a Minecraft account on my son's cell phone (A Samsung Galaxy A12 to be precise). I used my Microsoft account and password to create this, and until recently we had almost no problems signing in to our Minecraft account.

    Fast forward to around April 25, 2025. In between that time, I've changed my Microsoft password twice, and if I recall correctly, I changed it again a week before this whole dilemma.. On that day, my son mentioned he was having problems accessing and signing in to his account at around 7:00 pm. We tried signing in manually but it kept saying my password was incorrect. My son waited until the 26th at around 3:00 pm but it still didn't automatically sign in to his "FireSeal3419" account. So that evening, I reset my password and when we did that it sent us to the Xbox site to create a new account with a new gamertag. My son simply chose "FireSeal3420" as his gamertag. Unfortunately, we can't access the "FireSeal3419" Xbox account, and everytime we try to sign in, it kept sending us to the new "FireSeal3420" account. My son would like to get the old "FireSeal3419" account back, which has progress (including achievements and snapshots) dating back to 2022. He still has his two main worlds, but that's it.

    Another thing I should mention was that he had another world. It was the 15 Year Journey world that my son purchased for free back in 2024 when he had his "FireSeal3419" account. He can't access it anymore under his new account that we created on the April 26, 2025.

    We're wondering how to sign back in to his FireSeal3419 account again so he could have his progress back. We've already contacted Minecraft under their help center, and we're considering also contacting Xbox if that'll help.

    I've been trying to recover my main Microsoft account for a few years now.

    No matter how hard I try to put as many answers as I can into the account recovery, nothing works. I've been trying for years and on multiple devices, especially when this problem originally began as I still had access to the original devices I signed into my Microsoft account with. I'm irritated and frustrated and I'm soon at risk of losing my Minecraft account of 10+ years over this issue in September if I don't regain access to my account.

    I'm pretty sure the only reason why this problem even began was because the phone number associated with the account is one I can no longer access, and therefor I can't send a code to it. It's really a shame too, because its not just the Minecraft account I'm risking of losing, but multiple others that require Microsoft to log in, like my old Skype account, and my Xbox / gaming account.

    Apologies if I'm sending this in the incorrect category, but I can't seem to figure out which one is for Microsoft accounts. Anyway, thank you for any answers, and if possible please help me resolve this as it's pretty time-sensitive as that date in September regarding the Minecraft account thing is coming up soon. Any and all responses are deeply appreciated.
    When you first turned on 2 step verification (where it sends a code to your phone number) it would have given you several backup codes that it said to keep in a safe place.

    Did you keep those codes like it said to? They are meant for this exact sort of situation. If you didn't keep those backup codes then unfortunately the account would be lost as those would have been your very last resort for recovering the account.
