    My account has been blocked


    My primary email address is blocked, and it contains all my important information.

    I know my password, but when I try to log in, I get a message: "Sign in with blocked for one of these reasons:

    Someone entered the wrong password too many times."

    When I try two-factor authentication using my phone number, I get a message: "Try another verification method. This verification method isn't currently working. Please try another method."

    When I try to log in to Xbox or Microsoft, it tells me my account is blocked because I entered the wrong password multiple times.

    Microsoft support is unhelpful. They keep asking me to follow these steps, and I explain that I've followed them all. I just want my email account unblocked so I can log in. I know my password.

    It's been 72 hours and nothing has happened. I even submitted a request to unblock the account.

    Are you sure you have an enforcement action on your account? What country are you in?

    The enforcement team don't use the forums so no one here can do anything.

    You would need to go to the enforcement site HERE for info on your ban/suspension & to file for a case review if eligible.

    That is the only way to appeal a ban/suspension.

    This is not a viable solution because i cannot access my account in any way to change its settings. all i need is someone to send me a code to my current email so i can enter it and unblock my account. Or have someone switch my IDs so it will work. there
    is no way for me to log into my account on the computer. i need help.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that your account has been blocked. If you receive the message “Your account is currently unavailable" when you try to access your Microsoft account, your account might have been temporarily blocked due to unusually large traffic volume, suspicious activity, or a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement or code of conduct.

    If you know your password, but have lost access to some, but not all, of your security info:

    1. Sign in to the Advanced security options page of your Microsoft account.

    2. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose how you would like to receive security codes.

    3. Microsoft will send a security code to the new number or email to confirm. Enter that code when prompted and then select Next.

    4. Select and expand the security info / verification option you have lost and select Remove.

    5. Select Remove again to confirm.

    To check your account status or reactivate your account, go to the Microsoft services account reinstatement page: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=874120

    After filling out and submitting the form, please allow Microsoft to review the information that you shared for at least 24-72 hours. Please monitor the contact email address that you used, including the junk and the spam folder for possible response.

    If you did not receive a response from Microsoft or you have account specific questions, kindly contact Microsoft support for your account to be checked further. You may use this these steps as your guide:

    1-Access the Microsoft contact us at this link.

    2-Click on Windows and then click on "Get Home support"

    3-Write a brief description of your request or issue in the box then click the "Get Help" button.

    4-Click on the "Contact Support" button located at the bottom of the page. If you are not logged in, you will see "Sign in to Contact Support". Log in to your Microsoft account.

    5-Select your Product or Service. Choose a Category then click Confirm

    6-Lastly, choose a support option
