Xbox 360 and PS4 Controllers not connecting to windows 10 PC.

Please look at the images attached, I'm not good with computer science stuff so the images is the most info you can get out of me. I tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling, trying to update them to other versions that were hidden on my computer, and trying hundreds of driver restarts and reinstalls. the events page is giving me this link "http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event". I have no clue what it is but it seems out of date. The light on the controller only blinks when I hit the Xbox button. I ordered the cord off of amazon so it could be faulty.

Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.

that cable is only meant to charge the rechargeable battery for the controller and does not work for USB connectivity. There's no way to make wireless controllers into wired, you would have to purchase the official adapter

The Xbox One Wireless controller with Bluetooth can be connected to a Windows 10 PC with a USB cable, Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, so yes, it can be connected via the adapter. The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is not
compatible with an Xbox 360 controller and will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. I'll provide the support articles with this information:

I've never used a PS4 controller on a PC personally, but I do know that it can be used. Whether it works for cloud gaming, I'm not sure.

The controller needs a third party free application called ds4windows. When the app is installed and the controller is connected, Windows 10 should see the Dual Shock as an Xbox 360 controller.
